To thoroughly implement the national strategic plan for the digital and intelligent transformation of vocational education,keep pace with the development of new quality productive forces,and explore new models for cultivating vocational talents in the era of artificial intelligence,our university invited Tang Haifeng,Deputy General Manager of the Business Division at Shenzhen Yuejiang Technology Co.,Ltd.,to deliver a lecture on campus on March 26th.The lecture was titled"Embodied Intelligence in the Context of New Quality Productive Forces:Panoramic Industry Applications and New Paradigms for Talent Cultivation in Institutions."The lecture was hosted by Wang Faming,the university's Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President,and was attended by all faculty and staff.
Tang Haifeng provided an in-depth exposition from three dimensions:the background of embodied intelligence,its core concepts,and pathways for talent cultivation.He introduced the technical architecture,technological roadmap,and development history of embodied intelligence,with a focus on discussing the urgent industry demand for interdisciplinary talents and future trends in industrial applications.Using specific case studies,he vividly illustrated the practical applications of embodied intelligence in industrial settings and shared overall collaborative ideas and pathways for talent cultivation in the development of embodied intelligence as a academic discipline.The lecture was cutting-edge and profound,offering both theoretical depth and practical insight,providing a new perspective for the university's educational and teaching reforms.
In his concluding remarks,President Wang Faming emphasized the need to seize this lecture as an opportunity to capitalize on the critical period for the transformation and upgrading of higher vocational education.He stressed the importance of enhancing awareness of the reform of key teaching elements empowered by digital intelligence,improving the practical application of embodied intelligence in daily educational practices,uniting efforts with dedication and pragmatism.He highlighted focusing on connotative development as the main thread and using digital intelligence reform as a driving force to strive to create a"business model"for high-quality modern vocational education development,jointly forging a new chapter for the university's progress.Attending faculty unanimously agreed that the lecture broadened their horizons,updated their educational concepts,and provided them with a deeper understanding of the cutting-edge field of"embodied intelligence"and its applications in education.They expressed their commitment to using this learning opportunity as a new starting point to actively explore the deep integration of digital intelligence technology with education and teaching,continuously enhance their own digital literacy,and contribute their efforts to cultivating highly skilled talents capable of meeting future industrial demands.
