Shandong Business Institute, a provincial public full-time college, authorized by the Shandong Provincial Government and registered by the Ministry of Education. It is located in Yantai, a coastal city and an excellent tourism city in China. Shandong Business Institute has two campuses, Jinan and Yantai, covering an area of 1,418 mu, and a building area of 424,000 square meters. The total investment is up to 1100 million Yuan. At present, the enrollment is open to over 20 provinces and cities in the country, and there are more than 17,000 college students in campus.

We have teaching staff with “dual qualifications”, professional ethics, and high qualities. The faculty structure is reasonable with full-time teachers and part-time teachers. Currently, there are 728 faculty members, and of the full-time teachers, there are 235 professors and associate professors, 80% hold a doctor's or master's degree, and more than 90% are “dual qualification” teachers.
After more than 40 years’ development, there have been equipped with relatively complete vocational skill training system and practical teaching facilities. There is a modernized library, with 25,000 square meters in size and a collection of 1323,700 books. Shandong Business Institute has set up 2 modernized training bases, namely the Grain and Food Testing Center and Flour Production Training Center, both of which are central financially supported. There are also 14 National Professional Skill Appraisal Stations and 200 high standard professional laboratory and training rooms. Meanwhile, taking advantage of Industrial-oriented Education, we have over 372 practice and training bases out of the campus, and employed 376 experienced part-time teachers.
