To further enhance the exemplary role of student leaders in community life and strengthen the safety management of the "One-Stop" community, the College of Grain, Oil and Food has held a symposium for student cadres on "One-Stop" Community: "Guard with You, Enjoy Life Safely".
During the symposium, the dormitory counselor emphasized that student leaders, as role models among the student body, hold significant influence and appeal. Particularly in dormitory community life, they play a crucial role. Student leaders are expected to set an example through their own actions while encouraging their peers to collectively safeguard community safety.
The symposium focused on three key aspects: electrical safety and precautions in the community, fire prevention, and the promotion of etiquette in public spaces. The dormitory counselor engaged with student leaders using case studies and student-friendly approaches to highlight the importance of jointly maintaining community safety.
Following the discussions, student representatives actively shared their thoughts, raised issues encountered in community life since the start of the semester, and reflected on their takeaways from the symposium. Han Ru, one of the student representatives, remarked, "Engaging in face-to-face dialogue with teachers not only clarified my doubts but also deepened my understanding of the responsibility and mission of being a student leader.I will turn the insights from this symposium into concrete actions, continuously improve myself, and better serve my peers in the community, contributing to its development."
This symposium not only enhanced the sense of responsibility and mission of student cadres in community life, but also further strengthened the safety construction of the "one-stop" community of the college.
