On the Mid-Autumn Festival, with the bright moon hanging high in the sky, the school of food science and technology held an event titled "Full Moon, Reunited Family, and Heartwarming Mid-Autumn Night" on September 15th. This festival, imbued with warmth and poetry, brought a unique Mid-Autumn Festival feast featuring mooncake making and tasting to teachers and students who remained on campus during the holiday. On the day of the event, members of the college's Food Art Club had arranged the venue in advance, preparing the necessary ingredients such as flour, fillings, and molds for mooncake making.

At the beginning of the event, the head of the Food Art Club extended Mid-Autumn greetings to everyone and introduced the purpose and significance of the activity. The event aimed to promote traditional Chinese culture, enhance communication and friendship among students, and bring the festive atmosphere and warmth of home to those staying on campus.

After the event commenced, students, guided by professional teachers and members of the Food Art Club, embarked on the hands-on experience of making mooncakes. From kneading the dough, wrapping the fillings, and pressing the molds, every step was carefully executed. As they worked, students exchanged insights and reflections on the art of food preparation while sharing snippets of their campus life stories. After over an hour of collaborative efforts, they produced an assortment of Mid-Autumn mooncakes with diverse fillings such as mixed nuts, red bean paste, and jujube paste, each uniquely shaped. Looking at the mooncakes they had crafted themselves, everyone wore a satisfied smile. Following this, the mooncakes were baked, and everyone indulged in tasting their creations together.

The "Full Moon, Reunited Family, and Heartwarming Mid-Autumn Night" event concluded amidst laughter and joy from the students. Through this activity, students not only learned the techniques of mooncake making but also gained a deeper appreciation of the traditional significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival, fostering their understanding and love for traditional culture. Furthermore, it enriched the campus cultural life with a strong festive atmosphere.
