From September to November each year, the library holds new student entrance reading education and new students reading activities to enrich their extracurricular life. It is an important node for the library to welcome new students and hold freshman activities, allowing new students to quickly understand the library's resources and services.
This year, the library has provided many new books for new students reading activities. The library has planned and held activities such as "Stamp Collection - Entering the Library", "Reading Check in for 21 Days", "Reading Sharing Activity", and "Accompanied by Books, Enjoy Autumn".
During a book sharing activity, a new student expressed her feelings: due to academic pressure and mobile phone issues, she rarely reads extracurricular books. She hopes to participate in more reading activities, exchange reading experience with classmates, and improve her overall cultural quality while learning professional skills.
The reading and education activities during the freshman season have always been an important part of the library's work. Every year, various forms of education and activities are held to attract the participation of new students. Freshman can consciously learn to use the library, cultivate good habits of reading and self-directed learning, making the library an indispensable second classroom and spiritual home for students in their college life.
