The School of Intelligent Manufacturing is one of the backbone school of Shandong Business Institute. It offers six majors: Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Numerical Control Technology, Mechanical & Electrical Integration Technology, Electrical Automation Technology, Electromechanical Equipment Maintenance and Management and Industrial Robot Technology. Among them, Mechanical Manufacturing and Automation, Mechanical & Electrical Integration Technology and Numerical Control Technology are brand majors in Shandong Province.
The school currently has 40 faculty members, including 3 professors and 8 associate professors, 2 senior engineers. More than 70% of them have enterprise production and work experience, and 90.6% of them are “double qualified” teachers.
The school has established Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center, Intelligent Electrical Control Center, Virtual Simulation Training Center, "School --Enterprise Cooperation R & D Center, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Center and Intelligent Manufacturing Productive Training Base. In addition, it has four studios, Advanced Manufacturing Studio, Intelligent Electrical Studio, 3D Digital Studio and Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Studio.
In recent years, the school has made great achievements in education and teaching. Students have won 4 first prizes and 3 second prizes in the national vocational college skills competition (higher vocational group), 10 first prizes, 16 second prizes and 7 third prizes in the Shandong Vocational College skills competition (higher vocational group).
The past glory has not stopped the enterprisers. The school of Intelligent Manufacturing will continue to promote the deep integration of industry and education, strive to create a professional culture of "ingenuity, focus, enthusiasm and inheritance", and work together with teachers and students to cultivate a large number of innovative technical and skilled talents.
