Since its establishment in 1975, the school of accounting and finance has sent about 20000 graduates majoring in accounting, statistics, audit and financial management to the society. Many graduates have become the business backbone of enterprises, institutions, banks, audit, finance, taxation and other economic management departments in shandong province, and many graduates have taken leadership positions.
The school of accounting and finance has seven majors: big data and accounting, big data and audit, big data and financial management, financial services and management, statistics and accounting, big data and accounting (School-enterprise cooperation), big data and accounting (Sino-foreign cooperation).
Through years of efforts, the school of accounting and finance has built a “double-qualified” teaching team with high teaching level, strong teaching research ability and strong social service ability. More than 76% of full-time teachers have master’s degree or above, 30% of them are professors and associate professors, and more than 90% of teachers are double-qualified. They have published more than 400 papers, edited more than 70 textbooks, and presided over or participated in more than 10 provincial topics. There are 1 provincial-level famous teacher, 2 national top ten business teachers, 1 advanced individual in ideological and political work in Shandong Province.
The school has invested more than 10 million yuan to establish a modern accounting training center, with 20 on-campus simulation laboratories, including modern business training center, accounting comprehensive training room, ERP laboratory, manual simulation training room, accounting computerization post division training room, audit training room, investment and financial management training room, etc., which can accommodate 1500 people for training at the same time.
The school of accounting and finance regularly holds professional skill competitions such as cash counting competition, abacus competition, accounting management competition, ERP skill competition, accounting knowledge competition, ERP sand table competition and so on, so as to improve students' learning enthusiasm. Every year, students are organized to participate in relevant national and provincial skill competitions, and won the first prize of Shandong division and national finals for many times. Students have won the first prize in many competitions such as the 2018 National Vocational College "Audit Skills" Competition, the 2018 Shandong Vocational College Skill Competition "Comprehensive Accounting Skills" Competition (Higher Vocational group), the 2019 Internet Financial Innovation and Operation Competition and the 2020 "Foster Cup” College Students' Accounting and Tax Skills Competition.
