Recently, in order to further broaden students' international vision, help them better adapt to study abroad life and do a good job in future career planning, the School of Accounting and Finance actively adopted a series of innovative measures, aiming to provide guidance services and support for international students in an all-round way.
The School invited experts in the field of study abroad to introduce the application process, time planning and the education system of the study destination in detail. During the lecture, experts also shared practical information such as how to prepare application materials and how to choose a study abroad program that is suitable for them, so as to help students take the first step to study abroad.
The School provided overseas cultural adaptation workshops to build a bridge for intercultural communication among students. In the overseas acculturation workshop, students explored in depth the ways of communication and living habits in different cultural contexts through role play and group discussions. The aim of the workshop is to help students adapt to the cultural differences in study abroad life in advance, and to enhance the ability of cross-cultural communication.
The School also conducted a career planning guide for students planning to study abroad, where the instructors and students discussed how to integrate the study abroad experience with their personal career planning. By analyzing the current trend and demand of the job market, students are guided how to use the opportunity to study abroad to enhance their employment competitiveness, so as to achieve long-term career goals.
A series of study abroad guidance activities not only provide students with comprehensive and in-depth information about study abroad, but also lay a solid foundation for their career planning and future development. The School of Accounting and Finance will continue to be committed to providing high-quality education and consulting services to support students in achieving their dreams on the international stage.
