Shandong Business Institute takes the lead in establishing the China-ASEAN Architecture Vocational Education Alliance

On August 28th, the China- ASEAN Forum on the High Quality Development of Architectural Vocational Education was held at the permanent venue of the China ASEAN Education Exchange Week in Guiyang. The theme of this forum is "green, low-carbon, and ecological civilization", aiming to engage in exchanges, discussions, and cooperation around the development and internationalization of architectural vocational education. The forum was jointly organized by Guizhou Construction Vocational and Technical College, Jiangsu Construction Vocational and Technical College, Guangdong Construction Vocational and Technical College, and Shandong Business Institute. More than 100 experts and scholars from the domestic and foreign construction industry, representatives of domestic and ASEAN vocational colleges, and representatives of well-known enterprises in the construction industry participated in the forum.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, Mr. Zhou Guoping, Deputy Director of the Exchange and Cooperation Department of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education, Ms. Zainab, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education Department of the Malaysian Ministry of Education, Mr. Tongsa, Deputy Director of the Vocational Education Department of the Lao Ministry of Education and Sports, York Sotti, President of the Cambodian National Institute of Technical Training, and Yang Tianyi, Deputy Director of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Education delivered speeches. Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, vice president of Shandong Business Institute attended the unveiling ceremony of the China- ASEAN Architecture Vocational Education Alliance.

This forum has strengthened the communication and cooperation between our school and high-level vocational colleges in the field of architecture outside the province, and accumulated experience for the School of Architecture and Engineering to carry out international communication and cooperation. The school will take the establishment of the China ASEAN Architecture Vocational Education Alliance as an opportunity to continuously expand its visibility and influence, and fully utilize various platforms to "spread business voices and tell good architectural stories".
