Recently, Mr. Bryan Read, Head of International, Innovation & Industry Engagement from Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec, Mr. Tony Assadi, Programme Manager of School of Innovation, Design & Technology, and Mr. Shaun Li, Managing Director of Pacific Education (PEAL), visited Shandong Business Institute. Two parties held a signing ceremony and negotiations in the conference room. Mr. Wang Faming, President of Shandong Business Institute, and Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, Vice President of Shandong Business Institute, attended the meeting.
Mr. Wang firstly extended a warm welcome to the visit of Director Bryan Read and his delegation, and introduced the situation of our school from the aspects of school infrastructure, professional construction, talent training, international exchange and cooperation. He pointed out that China and New Zealand have a long history of friendly relations, and the two countries also have extensive exchanges and cooperation in the field of higher education.
It is reported that Te Pūkenga trading as Whitireia and WelTec is affiliated located in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand. Established in 1986, the Whitireia Institute of Technology is a national tertiary institution owned by the New Zealand Government and one of the first New Zealand institute to be recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education.
