Recently, on the 28th World Book, the “Immersion Reading for One Hour” Challenge Activity was hosted by the library, the Student work office and the Propaganda Department. It was held in the Cafe on the third floor of the library. More than 300 students participate in the challenge.
Students participating in the challenge activity can bring their favorite books or choose the on-site prepared books in the library. After the event starts, the person in charge records the challenger’s name. Participants who persist in immersion reading for more than an hour are considered successful, the successful challengers can receive a souvenir.
This activity is one of a series activities of the 14th College Students Reading Culture Festival. It is hoped that this form can guide students love reading and truly regard reading as a habit, and promote the construction and development of scholarly campus.
