Recently, our school was invited to the launching ceremony of “World Water Day”and “China Water Week”in Yantai in 2023. The theme of the ceremony was“Strengthen Water Management, Project the Mother River”. The leaders, teachers and 40 student volunteers participated in the launching ceremony together.
Water is the source of life, the essence of production, and the foundation of ecology. In recent years, our school has made remarkable achievements in water conservation work. With the creation of water-saving colleges and green schools as a breakthrough, the school has raised the awareness of water conservation, water love and water cherishing, realizing the fine management of water consumption, reducing the non-essential loss of water consumption through the improvement of water consumption facilities and the use of water-saving appliances.
Next, our school will continue to increase water conservation publicity and education, through the World Water Day, China Water Week publicity, energy saving knowledge contest, knowledge quiz, social practice and other activities to create an atmosphere of water conservation inside and outside the school, enhance the awareness of teachers and students to protect water resources, guide the majority of teachers and students to use their own practical actions to save water, cherish water, protect water, achieve sustainable development of water resources, and build a better home together.
