Recently, the School of Food Science and Technology organized the first lesson of farming and reading education for students through practical teaching to convey the culture of farming and reading. This is a brand new attempt of practical teaching in the college, relying on teaching practice bases on and off campus, allowing students to experience the interests of farming and reading culture in depth.
The students clearly saw the whole process of soy sauce making, fermentation, pressing, filtering, filling and packaging, saw the intelligent production mode of the enterprise, learned how Shinho Enterprise can ensure food safety and nutritional health at the same time. Back in the classroom, teachers from the School of food science and technology combined theoretical knowledge and teaching practice with relevant courses to let students understand the standards for grain entry, abnormal changes in grain conditions and disposal during grain storage, grain inspection when leaving storage, and how to master modern testing instruments and keep the quality of food inspection and testing, so that students can really put their learning into practice and serve society.
