The ideological and political theory teaching department is one of the nine teaching departments of Shandong Business Institute, which undertakes the teaching task of political theory courses for all students.
The Department has three teaching and research offices and 1 research institute, namely, the Teaching and Research Office of Mao Zedong Thought and Theoretical System of Chinese Socialism, the Teaching and Research Office of Moral Education and Foundation of Law, the Teaching and Research Office of Current Affairs and Policies, and the Psychological Research Institute of College Students. It has undertaken some important compulsory courses, including Mao Zedong Thought and Theoretical System of Chinese Socialism Course Practice, Current Affairs and Policies, Mental Health Education of College Students, and Moral Education and Foundation of Law and so on. There are 15 full-time teachers, 3 professors and associate professors.
Under the care of the Party committee and leaders, the ideological and political theory teaching department has made remarkable achievements in teaching and scientific research. In the past five years, our teachers have written a monograph, published more than 30 papers, presided over 12 projects, participated in various teaching competitions.
