The school of Ecomomics and Management is one of the earliest departments of our school. There are currently more than 2300 students in school. The majors involve International Economy and Trade, E-commerce, Chain Operation Management, Marketing, Modern Logistics Management, Cross-border E-commerce. There are 65 full-time teachers, including 4 professors, 1 associate professors, 4 doctors, 1 provincial famous teaching teacher.
The school of economics and management has continuously strengthened the construction of teaching quality. Five courses have been rated as provincial high-quality courses, two courses have been rated as provincial high-quality resource sharing courses, and the course “Selection and Procurement” is the core course of national teaching resource bank. In addition, students from the school of economics and management won 8 first prizes in the National Skill Competition of Vocational College.
The school of economics and management has a first-class educational environment. In 2011, the school built a teaching building integrating "learning, doing and teaching", including e-commerce training room, international trade training room, logistics comprehensive training room, international trade simulation training room, chain simulation supermarket training room, logistics simulation training room and business negotiation training room, which are used for the teaching and practice of all teachers and students. In 2019, the school invested more than 10 million yuan to build a modern business innovation demonstration base integrating practical training, scientific research, social services, entrepreneurship project incubation and other functions.
The school of ecnomics and management attaches great importance to the employment of students. It is equipped with full-time employment guidance teachers. Starting from the admission of freshmen, it starts to carry out career planning and employment guidance education. It offers four semesters of employment guidance courses in school, so that students can clarify their learning objectives and establish a correct outlook on job selection. At present, the school of ecnomics and management has built 58 off-campus practice bases and carried out "Modern Apprenticeship" cooperation with many well-known enterprises, providing reliable employment guarantee for students. The formal employment rate after graduation reaches more than 98%.
