In the 2025 "Domestic Software in the Classroom" Teaching Reform Project Excellence Awards, organized by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and the China Software Industry Association, the Software Technology Teaching Team from the School of Information Engineering at our university was honored with the Silver Award for Outstanding Teaching Team. This recognition highlights their exceptional performance in advancing domestic software teaching reforms.
In recent years, the School of Information Engineering has actively responded to the national call to promote the application and development of domestic software. The Software Technology Teaching Team has thoroughly researched the characteristics and advantages of domestic software, integrating it comprehensively into the curriculum system in alignment with vocational education needs. From foundational programming courses to core professional courses, domestic software tools and platforms have been adopted for teaching and practical applications.
Throughout the teaching process, the team has continuously innovated teaching methods, employing project-driven and case-based approaches to help students master the use of domestic software and enhance their software development skills. Additionally, the team has actively engaged in industry-academia collaboration, establishing close ties with multiple domestic software companies. By introducing real-world projects, students have gained hands-on experience in actual project development, deepening their understanding of how domestic software is applied in real work scenarios and strengthening their practical skills and professional competence.
Leveraging the resources of the Huawei ICT Academy, the team has also focused on improving the professional capabilities of its faculty. Many teachers have participated in relevant training and certification programs, with several obtaining the "Huawei Certified Academy Instructor" (HCAI) and "Huawei Certified ICT Professional - Artificial Intelligence" (HCIP-AI) certifications. This has enabled them to develop dual-qualified expertise, updating their knowledge and practical experience while injecting new vitality into the curriculum. As a result, the teaching content has become more aligned with industry trends and real-world applications.
This award is a testament to the high recognition of our Software Technology Teaching Team's efforts in domestic software teaching reform.
