Recently, our university was honored with the title of "Outstanding Contribution Unit" at the 2024 BRICS Skills Competition. This accolade not only recognizes the university's outstanding contributions in the field of vocational skills education but also acknowledges its long-term commitment to cultivating skilled talents, deepening industry-education integration, and promoting international exchange and cooperation.
As one of the most important international vocational skills competitions, the BRICS Skills Competition is organized by the Russian Agency for Skills Development, the Russian Strategic Initiatives Agency, the BRICS Business Council, and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, among others. The competition aims to foster the exchange and cooperation of vocational skills among BRICS countries and enhance the professional skills and comprehensive qualities of participants.
At the 2024 BRICS Skills Competition, faculty and students from our university's Intelligent Manufacturing College demonstrated exceptional professional expertise and teamwork, securing first prizes in two categories: "Artificial Intelligence Robot System Integration and Application" and "Additive Manufacturing." As a result, the university was awarded the title of "Outstanding Contribution Unit."
Moving forward, our university will continue to leverage skills competitions as a guiding force, with a focus on cultivating the spirit of craftsmanship. We will establish a system that integrates competition, learning, teaching, and reform, aiming to enhance the professional skills and comprehensive qualities of both faculty and students. By doing so, we strive to cultivate more high-quality technical and skilled talents, injecting new vitality into the intelligent manufacturing industry both provincially and nationally.
