Recently, the 16th National Student Structural Design Competition and the 15th Shandong Student Structural Design Competition were held in Shandong Agricultural University. 69 teams from 34 universities, including Shandong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, China University of Petroleum, Yantai University, Ludong University and Qingdao University of Technology, participated in the competition. 69 teams from 34 universities including Shandong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, China University of Petroleum, Yantai University, Ludong University and Qingdao University of Technology participated in the competition, and Shandong Business Institute won the first prize and successfully advanced to the national competition.
The competition lasted for 3 days and was divided into two stages: structural model design and production, and model loading. The work "Mingde Shed" completed by Xu Yuanshui, Wang Yina and Zhang Yuying who major in Engineering Cost won the first prize.
The competition exercised theoretical analysis and practical skills of teachers and students, enhanced their in-depth study of professional knowledge, and further promoted the development of students' vocational skills.
